Re: Retro pricing

Have you seen much 8088 / 8086 gear in your travels avalanche? Member of the Aussie Arcade forums is looking to relieve some nostalgia with classic hardware but I don't know how much of that early gear is out there.

Re: So what is an amazing beautiful not too old machine

I hear p4's are all the rage though ;)

Suppose it depends what type of look you going for, could do a throwback to the lanning days where everyone had cold cathodes and led fans out the wazoo, coupled with like a uv reactive dfi board, water cooled with uv reactive fluids, antec lanboy with window.

Re: s'il vous plaît expliquer

Got to take the time to stop and smell the roses as they say, kick back relax and play a game or two. I get what you're saying though, I'll never have the time to play through every game I own but even if im playing through some of my favourite dos classics for the umpteenth time I enjoy it and that...

Re: s'il vous plaît expliquer

I've always been more on the gaming side then collecting the hardware personally so not a lot to really contribute I'm afraid. I pop in and check out what's happening but don't really tinker making new machines so no build threads, although I have some commodore gear in unknown status that I have be...

Such a classic, shame about the smaller screen but what a great way to get some retro action without taking up the space needed for a desktop and crt.

Re: Gamepads??

The Gravis gamepad was the classic controller for me, its very much like a SNES controller and it's fairly easy to get usb retro ones off ebay I believe retrolink are the brand assuming your gaming puter has usb ports. Otherwise Logitech are a solid choice, I had their wireless model the Wingman whi...
