What is the lowest you would take for the cd changer? I'm thinking it would be pretty cool on my cps3 board but I don't know if it would work or not so I don't want to spend to much.

How about send me the media your playing & I can try it first.

These Nakamichi are the best unit's sourced from the whole world. I know because looked 6 months.
Have to consider DHL shipping from US or UK on a bunch of these & it costs a packet.

The ebay unit's up now in the sales are grubby dirty looking beasts.

Some boards around 2000-2003 era will do it. Have scsi onboard. Do see for about $20US sometimes
eg Gigabyte GA-6BXS or Msi K7T Master

Counterproductive, unless you want to boot from a SCSI device, because SCSI BIOS will slow down boot process

Better to use simple SCSI controller without on-board BIOS, like first two of these

Third can connect both 50 & 68-pin SCSI devices but cannot boot from them, would do the job but really meant for server with primary SCSI controller to provide BIOS code
