[SYD] For Trade - SGI Indy

Postby mwd » Sun Jan 10, 2016 10:51 pm

Hi All,

I have an SGI Indy for trade (or possibly sale).

Specs:
Mode: SGI Indy
CPU: R4600SC/133
RAM: 64MB
HDD: 1GB SCSI
OS: IRIX
Video: 8bit

Specs are somewhat negotiable as I have a couple of Indy's with various specs.

Here is what the outside looks like:

I would prefer a trade of some description but am open to offers. I am currently after a 486 motherboard, old Mac gear, old CPUs, amiga computer, Apple IIs etc, lots of things, so if you think you have something I'd be interested to hear.

Hey Michael, it's Parad0x666 from YouTube, I was looking for some bits for my Indy. It's got the 8 bit graphics, a 133 MHz R4600PC :'( haha - and 96 meg of ram (4 x 8 MB) and 4 X 16 MB).

I don't really need a whole new system, although it might be more cost effective to do so - I'd ideally love to get up to a R4400 clocked nice and high, or an R5000 (I would need an upgraded PROM though...) and 24-bit Graphics. I've recently got myself a nice external SCSI CD-ROM drive and a bigger (and quieter!) HDD.

I have a fair few old Macs lying around, including a Color Classic, a couple 8600's and a couple beige G3's. There's a few more lurking under the house but I'll have to do an inventory!

Hi Christian,

Very interested. I will also check what I have and let you know. Should be able to get some good upgrades for you.
