Without out it, what have you got ?

A bunch of useless other parts.

So my mainboard collection passion mainly is this. Interesting to look at,
good design, nice colour pcb's, quirky, features, rarity & to save as many
beautiful examples as I can.

I suspect those Sanyo OSCON polymer capacitors in the VRM output are being crippled by low quality Chinese electrolytic capacitors in the VRM input (the pair near the printer port)

Hard to tell from your pic, but if those two are branded GSC, regarded on Badcaps.net as among the worst of the worst, then a pre-emptive recap would be prudent

Is the area around the MOSFETs (those little square black thingies between the capacitors, three-legged connection to motherboard) slightly darker than the rest of the board ?

If so, an indication they're overheating with unclean power from the VRM input caps

That's a later model Slot1 board going by its PC99 colour coded connectors, right in the era when Chinese manufacturers were scrimping on quality of passive components to keep profit margins healthy

Back on topic, here's an AOpen AX6BC, all Sanyo electrolytic capacitors , with Powerleap IP3/T Slocket adapter running an FCPGA2 Celeron 1300 if I recall

Nice spotting on the GSC Yes them 2200uF will get the flick. Lucky not all that many caps to do here.
Notice small 220uF, far out another type to buy. But the transistors are all squeaky clean
Not a scorched BBQ anywhere near this thing. I'll end up dropping x3 heatsinks on it too.
+ Seller in UK is mental on presentation. They cost a lot, but at least they're tested cleaned perfect.
