Recent additions to your retro collection!

Got a small stash in today, and thought I'd add a staple retro thread to the forum

All part of the same lot, also included an AST 386SX laptop - will have to post separately.

Most interesting parts are:

* Eagle VGA 8-bit video card - Australian made! and unused. Chipset is covered by a sticker, looks like a Tseng Labs though
* Creative CT2940 SB16 PnP - doesn't seem to have the OPL3 chip on it though
* ESS ES1868 ISA soundcard - nothing unusual or exciting, but came with a brief manual which I'll have to scan
* Wangtek QIC-02 8-bit ISA card - I've got a tape drive here, not sure if it conforms to the QIC standard though

Baby AT Motherboard with 386SX-33 and 387SX-16 installed - with 387SX co-pro documentation and drivers. Not sure how well paired the 16 is with the 33, wondering if the CPU causes the co-pro to run at a higher frequency.

Some games arrived recently, but I have only just had access to them. Been too busy with work to play with my retro toys hopefully that changes this weekend!

Sorry for the incorrectly oriented pic, uploading from my iPhone. Games are sealed Madden II (will open it due to box damage - also have the first Madden coming from the US), The Terminator ( ) and the LucasArts Archive: Star Wars Collection Vol 2.

Turns out I was wrong about this card - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EAGLE-TECHNO ... 1935215397

It's an Eagle Technologies E3000 VGA card, and is based on a "Chips and Technologies 82C451 Super VGA controller" (256k video memory). From the condition and looks of it this card must have come out of this seller's stash somehow ... just need to track down the driver disk.

Just a quick Vendor Verdict I've bought from eaglebrd (the seller linked to) quite a few times, he has a lot of awesome retro gear!

Won the bidding on a minty NOS Thinkpad 360C laptop - literally unused for 22 years!!! It was very cheap, final price shipped from Austria was less than half the asking price of a local seller of a used 360C.

I have a 360Cs owned from new (1995) which a stuffed screen, this has a slightly smaller LCD but it's a nice clear display. Need to get a memory card next ...

Here's a shot of it with the "first run" IBM presentation! Was pretty blown away to be seeing it again lol

Such a classic, shame about the smaller screen but what a great way to get some retro action without taking up the space needed for a desktop and crt.

One of the nice agp's I've been chasing for a while. Bidding is always high on a performance rare type video card.
Definitely not cheap this part, hard fought auction. Still good & collectible
